Tyrrell's Wine List Takeover

Jane & Chris Tyrrell of Tyrrell’s Wine are taking over for the Wine Bar for one night only!

Few names carry the weight of Tyrrell’s in Australian wine. Since Edward Tyrrell first planted vines at the foot of the Brokenback Range in 1858, five generations of the family have shaped the Hunter Valley and helped define what Australian wine can be.

Jane and Chris Tyrrell will bring that legacy to the heart of the CBD for our very first sibling wine list takeover.

From Vat 1 Semillon, Australia’s most awarded white wine, to Vat 47, the nation’s first commercial Chardonnay, Tyrrell’s wines are celebrated for their distinctive character and remarkable longevity, many drawn from some of the oldest vineyards in New South Wales.

To mark the occasion, Gabriel Del Conti has created a three-course paired menu, available throughout the evening with matching wines, including a 250g flank steak served with Jane’s famous roasted potatoes.

Jane and Chris will be pouring on the night, sharing the wines and stories behind their family’s vineyards, winemaking and enduring connection to the Hunter Valley.
