Wine List Takeover x Tolpuddle

One of Australia's most celebrated producers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is taking over The Wine Bar, with acclaimed winemaker Adam Wadewitz joining us in person.

Established in 1988 in Tasmania's Coal River Valley, Tolpuddle Vineyard was discovered by Shaw + Smith's founders during a spontaneous trip to the island. Captivated by its mature vines, exceptional vineyard exposure and cool, dry climate, they acquired the property in 2011.

Today, Tolpuddle is recognised among Australia's finest cool-climate producers, crafting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir celebrated for their purity, precision and remarkable longevity. Its international reputation continues to grow, with the 2023 Chardonnay crowned Champion White Wine at the 2025 International Wine Challenge in London.

Adam, Chief Winemaker at Shaw + Smith and Tolpuddle Vineyard, will be pouring in person, sharing the stories behind the vineyard and its acclaimed wines. The evening will also feature a selection from the wider Shaw + Smith portfolio, including MMAD Vineyard.
